Wontons on the Winter Solstice,

noodles for the New Year.

这是南宋临安的习俗。

It’s the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) tradition in Lin’an (ancient Hangzhou).

冬至这一天，

On Winter Solstice,

享用一碗热气腾腾的馄饨，

let’s enjoy a bowl of steaming wontons

暖意从舌尖漫到心头。

and feel the warmth spread from the tongue to the heart.

如今，这份暖意穿越时光而来。

Today, that warmth travels across centuries to reach us.

我们循着宋人冬至习俗，

Following the Song Dynasty Winter Solstice tradition,

复刻的不仅是一种滋味，

we represent not just a flavor of wontons,

还有那份烟火日常。

but also the simple happiness of everyday life.

一勺热汤，一口馄饨，

A spoonful of soup, a bite of wonton,

光阴流转，温暖总是相似。

time passes by, but warmth feels the same.
